2025/26 Byford Bushrangers State Squad
Registrations are open for players in school years 1–6 (2025) who want to build on their Tee-Ball skills and take the next step toward State competition.
This squad is designed for players with a foundation in the game. Training will focus on having fun, improving technique, strategy, and game awareness in a supportive team environment.
Key Details
- Trial Dates: Sunday 19 October – Sunday 2 November 2025 - Players to Attend all 3 sessions
- Times: 8:00am – 2:00pm (age-specific; Times to be confirmed closer to date)
- Location: Lower Briggs Oval
- Wear: Black pants, closed-in shoes, plain t-shirt (no prior State gear)
- Bring: Water bottle, glove, personal equipment (bats and helmets provided if needed)
How Selection Works
A selection panel led by the State Championship Officer will assess players based on:
- Fielding, throwing, catching, and hitting
- Hustle, attitude, and coachability
- Game knowledge and coachability
Note: Prior squad experience doesn’t guarantee selection. Each team is selected based on current skill and squad needs.
What Happens If Selected?
Selected players must attend all squad training and regular club sessions. They will represent Byford Bushrangers at:
- 4-5 Pre-State Carnivals amount TBC
- WA Tee-Ball State Championships (March Long Weekend)
Fees

$250 Total – $150 on acceptance, $100 by 1st of January 2026
This is Inclusive of: personalised jersey, training shirt, official hat and photos.
Additional gear: long black pants & orange belt (available at Fielders Choice)

• Under 9: Born 1/07/2017 – 30/06/2019
• Under 10: Born 1/07/2016 – 30/06/2017
• Under 11: Born 1/07/2015 – 30/06/2016
• Under 12: Born 1/07/2014 – 30/06/2015
• Under 13: Born 1/07/2013 – 30/06/2014
• Girls State Team: Age group based on nominations
